Aging in New York

Hunter College was one of the first public colleges in the United States to join the Global Network of Age-Friendly Universities. As Age-Friendly Universities, institutions commit to including and serving older adults as lifelong learners, professionals, research partners, and community members. Ruth Finkelstein, executive director of the Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging, has championed the commitment of the Age-Friendly University to older adults.
