Mark Brennan-Ing, director of research and evaluation, presented an e-poster, “Perspectives of people living with HIV on ART-related weight change and healthy weight,” as part of the International AIDS Society (IAS) conference, which was held in Brisbane, Australia, July 24-26. The qualitative study examined how people with HIV experience weight change in their daily lives, how they feel about their body image, and how that influences health behaviors, including adherence to antiretroviral medications.
