Aging in New York

Brookdale works to improve the lives of older adults in New York City and State through research, policy, and advocacy initiatives. Our experts testify and present recommendations before the NYC Council, present our research at conferences, and collaborate with other organizations to support initiatives that address the needs and well-being of New Yorkers of all ages. Executive director Ruth Finkelstein holds multiple leadership roles on New York Governor Hochul’s Master Plan for Aging. Visit our publications and filter by Aging in New York.
