Mark Brennan-Ing, director of research and evaluation at Brookdale, was interviewed by AIDSVu on health equity issues affecting people aging with HIV, based on a recent article written with Ms. Eleni Mattas in Gerontology. Dr. Brennan-Ing discussed the disproportionate impact of HIV on low-income communities and people of color and common barriers to accessing health care, as well as strategies to provide better care for those aging with the virus.
