christian gonzález-rivera, Brookdale’s director of strategic policy initiatives, is the 2025 recipient of the Walter M. Beattie Jr. award presented by the State Society on Aging of New York (SSANY). The Walter M. Beattie Jr. award is to honor a distinguished member of the SSANY for outstanding contributions to the work and for commitment to the goals of the State Society on Aging. gonzález-rivera is a current board member and past president of SSANY. He was presented with the award at SSANY’s annual conference in Saratoga Springs, New York, on October 6.
