Zoe Perlis is a recent graduate of Barnard College with a BA in Urban Studies and concentrations in Education and Architecture. At Barnard, she worked extensively with the Columbia Housing Equity Project as a Community Impact Liaison and the Barnard College Speaking Center as a Speaking Fellow and organizer of TEDx Barnard 2026. She wrote her undergraduate thesis on urban aging in place, age-friendly policy, and accessible urban design. Her research has focused on qualitative methods like neighborhood observations and semistructured interviews. At the Brookdale Center she enjoys building off of this research to support projects related to home care work and creative aging.
