Work has already evolved to reflect enormous changes in the United States: the inclusion of women, and the shift from industry to service. With people living longer, a structural overhaul is needed to reframe our understanding of work. We will need to begin to think about work anew in terms of legalities and practicalities. Technology offers a multigenerational workforce more than just ways to replace workers.
