Mark Brennan-Ing, director of research and evaluation, was invited to serve as a member of the Lancet HIV Commission on Ageing and HIV. The overall goal of this commission is to provide actionable, specific recommendations to improve the health span (quality and quantity) and reduce disparities among people aging with HIV globally. The Commission is led by Dr. Amy Justice (Yale University) and Dr. Keri Althoff (Johns Hopkins University). Dr. Brennan-Ing is part of Writing Group Two, which focuses on prevention, screening, and diagnosis issues affecting this population. The report of the full Commission is targeted for late 2025.
