Executive director Ruth Finkelstein spoke with Aimee Picchi for a CBSNews.com Moneywatch story (Oct. 28) on workers age 75 and older.
Dr. Finkelstein pointed out the importance of good health among those working into their 70s, about one-quarter of whom are self-employed. Some older workers love what they do and don’t want to stop, but others, she said, can’t afford to—especially women, who may have spent years providing unpaid care for children and older relatives.
