Brookdale executive director Ruth Finkelstein chaired a Zoom discussion on December 1 for the International Longevity Centre UK. The webinar marked the launch of the organization’s report “Moving the Margins: Improving pneumococcal vaccine uptake in marginalised groups.” Uptake for this vaccine is low across the world. The webinar and report discuss barriers to uptake and highlight the need to address health inequities that contribute to the persistence of preventable diseases.
