Jasmine Manalel, senior research associate at Brookdale, delivered a keynote lecture at Adelphi University’s annual Psychology Day. She spoke about her research on social networks across different life course and health contexts, including personal networks in childhood, caregiving networks of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and informal care networks of older women living with HIV. Dr. Manalel also spoke about how her own network of mentors shaped her career trajectory.
This keynote lecture was part of a series of events aimed at showcasing careers and research in psychology and facilitating community among students and faculty of psychology.
