Dr. Jasmine Manalel, senior research associate, presented a poster, “Association of ART Type and Adherence with Viral Suppression: An Observational Study of a Clinical Population of People with HIV,” at the Society for Behavioral Medicine Annual Meeting in Phoenix on April 28. The study findings add to a growing body of evidence suggesting that the antiretroviral therapy adherence level required for viral suppression may be lower than the 90% + standard used in clinical settings.
