Ruth Finkelstein, executive director, worked to develop case studies for the NIOSH older workers bureau website describing the practices of “Age Smart Employers.” These employers use policies and practices that make work possible across the lifespan, including flex time, job restructuring, and employee health and wellness programs, as well as paid and unpaid sabbaticals.
