The New York Retirement and Disability Research Center (NYRDRC) welcomed nearly 20 students who participated in a research practicum during summer 2024. In this program, each student is mentored by an RDRC researcher and works on projects related to Social Security policy. Students also attend seminars on topics such as Social Security, income inequality, pensions, disability, aging, and health. This practicum is intended to build students’ research skills and give them the opportunity to contribute meaningfully  to current research projects.
