Senior research associate Jasmine Manalel recently presented research on social support among older women with HIV at two conferences.
- At the American Society on Aging conference in March, she presented on intersectionality and informal care needs.
- At the International Association for Relationship Research in July, Dr. Manalel was part of a symposium on loneliness among older adults where she discussed how different aspects of older women’s social relationships are associated with loneliness. The data used for these studies came from the Research on Older Adults with HIV 2.0 study.
